Our research and education covers a wide area including natural sciences and all branches of engineering, as well as in architecture, industrial management, urban planning, history and philosophy.<\/p>\n<div class=\"job-desc\">\n<p>The Linn\u00e9 FLOW Centre (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.flow.kth.se\/\">www.flow.kth.se<\/a>) organizes research in fundamental fluid mechanics at KTH and is one of twenty original centers of excellence set up by the Swedish Research Council (VR). The centre was established with a vision as an outstanding environment for fundamental research in fluid mechanics, where innovative research is born and future research leaders are fostered. It has become one of the internationally-leading research groups in fluid mechanics.<\/p>\n<p><b>Job description<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The research topic is fluid mechanics in the context of one of the following areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stability and Control<\/li>\n<li>Turbulence and Geophysical Flows<\/li>\n<li>Micro- and Complex Flows<\/li>\n<li>Aeroacoustics and Compressible Flows<\/li>\n<li>Heat Transfer and Reactive Flows<\/li>\n<li>e-Science in Fluid Mechanics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The exact topic of the work is not fixed. The applicant is invited to contact researchers at Linn\u00e9 FLOW Centre (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.flow.kth.se\/\">www.flow.kth.se<\/a>), who then act as FLOW Principal Investigator, to define a specific research topic.
