The topics will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dynamo action associated with chiral turbulence, in planetary and solar contexts;<\/li>\n<li>Eruption of solar\/stellar fields through chromospheres and coronae;<\/li>\n<li>Braiding of the coronal field due to footpoint motion;<\/li>\n<li>Spontaneous field discontinuities (current sheets) and coronal heating;<\/li>\n<li>Magneto-rotational instability (MRI) in accretion discs, and associated transport of angular momentum;<\/li>\n<li>Magnetostatic equilibria in toroidal fusion plasmas; their stability and containment characteristics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For more information, including the list of invited lectures, please visit\u00a0<span style=\"color:#0000ff;\"><span style=\"text-decoration:underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.icms.org.uk\/workshops\/tangled\" target=\"blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color:#00b050;\">www.icms.org.uk<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>If you would like to participate and be considered for a contributed talk or poster, please complete the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.icms.org.uk\/application?id=230\" target=\"blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> on-line application form<\/a>.\u00a0 The\u00a0 deadline for applications is<\/p>\n<p align=\"CENTER\"><span style=\"color:#ff0000;\"><span style=\"font-size:large;\"><strong>31 August 2012<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>We encourage early applications.
