First Announcement & Call for Abstracts
Riga, Latvia | 14–18 June 2027
The 11th International Scientific Colloquium Modelling for Materials Processing (MMP 2027) will take place at the House of Science, University of Latvia.
The scientific programme welcomes contributions on:
- Electrothermal processing and electromagnetic materials processing
- Applied and fundamental magnetohydrodynamics
- CFD and coupled multiphysics simulations
- Non-invasive experimental diagnostics and flow measurements
- Data-driven modelling, inverse problems, machine learning and reduced-order methods
14–15 June: ETP & MHD School, combining lectures with practical computational and experimental activities.
16–18 June: Main scientific conference.
Confirmed keynote speakers: Egbert Baake, Ebrahim Karimi Sibaki, Abdellah Kharicha, Andrew Kao, Tianshu Liu, Paolo Di Barba, and Jānis Virbulis & Kaspars Dadzis (joint keynote).
Abstract submission deadline: 15 March 2027.
Extended abstracts of 1–2 pages are invited. Participation is in person.
