HYDROMAG is an international association of scientists and engineers active in those fields of research which involve the flow of fluids in the presence of a magnetic field, namely:

  • Dynamics of magnetic fluids (MF),
  • Magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) of liquid metals and similar fluids,
  • Electromagnetic processing of materials.

HYDROMAG promotes growth and visibility of the field of hydromagnetics and stimulates exchanges between its members throughout the world via conferences, workshops, summer schools, and publications.

The electronic “HYDROMAG newsletter” has been launched in January 1996. It appears 4 times a year and is regularly distributed to all members of HYDROMAG and other interested people. If you want to get regular updates about the posts on Hydromag Newsletter website, follow us on Twitter!
