We are pleased to announce that the abstract submission system for the 11th Symposium on Bifurcations and Instabilities in Fluid Dynamics (BIFD2026) is officially open as of 1 December 2025.

The conference will take place in L’Aquila, Italy, 6–10 July 2026, co-organised by the Gran Sasso Science Institute (GSSI) and the University of L’Aquila.

Participants may submit either:

• a regular conference abstract, or
• an abstract addressed to one of the four thematic mini-symposia listed on the website.

Key Dates

• Abstract submission opens: 1 December 2025
• Abstract submission deadline: 1 February 2026
• Decision notifications: 31 March 2026
